Assistance vehicle towing a car

Describe the available access

Photograph the height sign and give the address of the correct entrance. Mention ramps, tight bends, gates and barriers. A recovery truck suitable for the road may not fit inside your garage. The operator needs these limits before equipment is dispatched.

Explain the parking position

Provide the floor, bay number and distance to the exit. Explain whether the car rolls freely, whether the wheels steer and whether a neighbouring car blocks access. Do not push a car onto a ramp to save time: movement constraints need assessment on site.

Prepare to receive the operator

Have the access badge, caretaker details and opening hours ready. Mention any permission needed. For an electric vehicle, add manufacturer instructions on moving the car. Assistance on site or extraction followed by transport may be possible depending on conditions. Confirm arrangements before the intervention.
