Respect the immediate priorities
If someone is injured or there is immediate danger, contact emergency services and follow their instructions. Do not move the car or elements of the scene against the guidance given. A photograph can help prepare recovery but never justifies exposing yourself to moving traffic.
Describe damage relevant to transport
Mention locked wheels, parts touching the ground or a car that can no longer steer. Report visible leaks and any electric or hybrid vehicle characteristics. The operator chooses equipment based on damage and access, not simply the car model.
Confirm the destination and reception
Establish with the relevant parties whether the car should go to a workshop, storage facility or another location. Check opening hours and whether the destination can receive it. Keep case details and the operator contact information. Transport does not replace accident documentation or steps required by your insurer.
