Prepare vehicle information
Give the make, model, known height and length, and weight information available in the documents. Specify whether the van is empty or loaded. The same model can present different constraints depending on its configuration, fittings and cargo.
Describe cargo and restrictions
Mention sensitive goods or permanently fitted equipment without unnecessarily sharing confidential details. A load may require special arrangements: do not improvise cargo transfers on the road. The operator needs to know whether the load affects handling or transport conditions.
Coordinate the receiving location
Confirm that the chosen garage can accept your type of van and will be open at the intended arrival time. For a business vehicle, provide a contact who can approve the destination. Equipment for vans and heavy vehicles is not interchangeable; required capacity must be confirmed before the intervention.
